After Effects help?

chocolate_chip*sigh* Unless someone can point me towards a good online tutorial for Adobe After Effects, I don't think I'm going to be able to finish my AMV in time for AniBos. I need to make a mask to superimpose a moving character over a new background. Man, stupid art school. Totally did not spend enough time on the technical stuff. Anyone know how to do this?
I'm finally going to second shift next week. No more Creepy Guy! No more Princess! Greatly reduced interaction with Annoying Crazy Lady! I need to remember to call Allison and see if she wants to go to Margarita's on Sunday now that I can finally stay up late on Sunday nights and use that coupon.
Of course I start my new position on Monday, and I'm taking Tuesday off 'cause that's the Ellegarden concert. XD; Oops.
