Very frustrating day today, but I had the most awesome dream last night.
I dreamed there was a second Prince of Tennis movie, with the plot centering around Jiroh getting kidnapped. (Yeah, I know, he's probably the least rich kid in Hyoutei next to Shishido, but whatever. The mob probably tried to run drugs out of his dad's laundromat or something.) The Big Action Scene involved a car chase getaway through a crowded highway with Tezuka steering with his feet because his hands were cuffed behind his back.
Obviously, this would be the most awesome movie ever.
It's a little sad that I knew it was a movie because my dream was animated by the movie studio instead of the TV studio.

Date: 2006-03-07 02:00 am (UTC)...jirou getting kidnapped? I would LOVE to see that. ...they could incorporate the Band of Princes moment when Tezuka, Oishi and Kikumaru turn up in police uniforms (or something of that sort), complete with batons. Fantastic material for a movie. Steering with his feet--well, we know from the Tezuka Zone that he's skilled at keeping his feet near the same spot, so it should be quite easy for him to keep his feet on the wheel. hahahahahaha! ...I would love to see that movie. :p

Date: 2006-03-08 06:27 am (UTC)And when they met each other again! the way they were, in these hugs--how they hung out together, it's just so warm and all. (okay, can't quite find the words today, but you know what I mean.)
( Haven't seen Crash OR Capote OR Walk the Line OR Constant Gardener or any of the others yet (and probably can't--some are already out of the theatres and only so many hours and dollars a day), so I shouldn't say it's Best Picture in my head, but I tend to forget and think of it that way.
