Heather and I went to Chunky's to see Ghost Rider. Verdict: Nic Cage is still a hottie, and still a cheesy actor. ^_^; Movie itself could have used about 3 more rewrites, but it was fun. And made more amusing because we were surrounded by a whole gang of big burly biker guys celebrating one guy's birthday. XD And yes, I do want Supernatural/Ghost Rider crossover fic.

Chunky's is a cool place. Is it a restaurant with screens, or a movie theater with tables? I can't decide! But the food was really good, and you can get a whole meal for what you'd pay for a popcorn and soda at a regular theater. In exchange, you get more people talking and walking around than at a regular theater. I could deal with that, but the people who brought their toddler to a movie starring a guy with a flaming skull for a head and let it bang soda cups and squeal the whole time was a bit much. *fang* Oh, what would I give for a theater with "no children allowed" showings....

Man, now I want to see Face/Off again.

=O That is such a neat idea! It could so work!

Oddly enough, after I watched Ghost Rider, I saw Face/Off for the first time within hours. XD Nicolas Cage was better at being John Travolta's character than he was.

Oh, yes yes yes! Partially because Travolta is just way too smarmy and icky and like something that oozed out of a sewer to ever play a convincing good guy, and partially because Cage is allllll down wit teh angst. I wish the guy'd had to keep Cage's face at the end of the movie. (Also because, as we've already established, Nic Cage is a hottie.)
