Michael Brown is a total douchebag. Way to blame people that had no choice but to stay for your agency fucking up. You're absolutely right about the fact that if it wasn't just a bunch of poor black people stuck there, they government wouldn't have been so slow in doing anything about it. National guard people nearly opened fire on some people because they broke into a kitchen to make food since there wasn't any other way to eat, but hey, it's their fault for not going somewhere safer.
I remember reading something a while ago about how New Orleans' engineers were trying to say that there was going to be a big problem if there was a major storm, but nobody would listen.
The transcript of Nagin's interview with a radio station down there makes me so angry, and you can see how badly he wants to do something but the government is so slow in doing anything for them.
