It's kind of sad that two hours of overtime is less draining than two hours at Wal-Mart. Man, I hate shopping. But among the essentials I bought are: a My Little Pony to try my hand at customizing (still need to bug mom about where my old ones are), Care Bear band-aids, Brokeback Mountain soundtrack, last season's Patriots shirts at a significant discount, and jeans that I'll have to take back because they don't fit. Stupid dressing room not being open. Of course all I care about right now is getting the damn pony out of her package. There seems to be an entire roll of scotch tape on here. Aaaaand there went my nail. Okay, yeah definitely won't be making a custom box from that. Yay! *brushing tail* I think I'm going to keep this one simple and not try a re-hairing. Plus her hair is already perfect for the idea I'm getting. Alas, way too much to do right now to even think about getting started....

Also, if you do find your childhood ponies -- beware. The nostalgia and the pretty are strong with them.
I tried to resist buying the new G3s, because I was still crazy about my old ponies and I knew that there would be no turning back if I bought a G3. I was doing pretty well, pretending they didn't exist, but then one day the bf was all "Why haven't you gotten any of the new ponies when I know you like your ponies so much." After explaining that I would have no willpower to stop if I started -- he bought one for me and surprised me with it.
So now I have like, 300 ponies in the living room and only about 85 of them are from my childhood. I justify this by blaming it on him. ^_^
